Is it unfair to kick a moron?

I only wonder because I came across some wonderful anti-abortion nonsense HERE and felt very much like kicking someone...

Who could possibly argue in the Western world that it would be possible to sexualise children any more? I mean, come on! Kids are currently sexualised long before they even have a wisp of pubic hair, putting ads for condoms on the telly is hardly going to exacerbate that.

Jon Stewart did a great stand up piece on condom advertising back in 1996, where pointed out the idiocy of advertising beer, but not condoms - what type of idiot thinks that telling them about condoms is going to encourage more sex? "Wait'll young people find out about the pleasures of sex with condoms!" Listen to it, it's funny stuff.

Anyone who's had to use condoms knows it isn't, like, fun or anything. That's why kids need to be told how important it is - otherwise why would they bother?

Education - realistic education now, none of this abstinence bullshit - is essential to helping youths not only come to terms with their sexuality, but also to know what to do with it. Who cares if kids are having sex with each other so long as they aren't having babies and spreading STDs?
