I have a counter now, so I know exactly what's going on.
I'm not sure if this was a good idea, could get a bit depressing. I have visions of Homer Simpson's webpage where the numbers gradually dripped away.
Anyway, what harm can it do? I think I'll seek out more marvellous add-ons...

Whoo hoo! I'm visitor number 37... and 38... oh, and 39 too! It just keeps going up every time I jump back to the front page... maybe I can make it up to one hundred by the end of the day.

For the poll HTML, go into the template on blogger and scroll down past the end of the "main" section. Go somewhere into the "sidebar" section and place it there. If you place it above it should show up just above your profile in the right column of your page. But of course play around and see what happens.
Thank you, Anonymous (I wish people wouldn't do that, be proud of who you are! Stand up and be counted!), but I tried doing that earlier. To be honest, I've been arsing around with this thing all day because, well, it's more fun than the thesis I'm supposed to be writing!
I can't work HTML and I don't want to know how. If that sounds like sour grapes it's because it is. (Or "because it's"? Who knows? Hard to tell with these apostrophes...)
