Cradle of Filth - Live at Wacken 2015
Well, I thought it was good. Since they seem to be avoiding Ireland like the plague these days this is probably the closest I'll get to actually seeing them live.
Setlist:
At the Gates of Midian
Cthulhu Dawn
A Dream of Wolves in the Snow
Summer Dying Fast
Honey And Sulphur
Funeral in Carpathia
Right Wing of the Garden Triptych
Nymphetamine (Fix)
Born in a Burial Gown
Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids
Her Ghost in the Fog
From the Cradle to Enslave
Interesting setlist. Two from Midian (three including intro), two from Principle, one each from old EPs... Nothing from Vempire, Damnation and a Day, Thornography, Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa or The Manticore. I suppose it's hard to get everything in, but seriously, they could bump Nymphetamine, Her Ghost in the Fog and Cradle to Enslave easily to make room for stuff that's less... Um... I want to say 'poppy', but that doesn't seem right.
I'd replace those three with Better to Reign in Hell (Damnation...), Beyond the Eleventh Hour (Darkly...) and, of course, Temptation (Thornography...)
That last one's a joke. In all senses. In reality, the closer should always be Bathory Aria. How's that for ruining your festival vibe?
